For the Registrar & registration? This
a tough question for a general answer. One clear answer is: "Less than it
did three years ago." DNV in LA quoted recently "$13,000 average last
year, $11,000 now." If you go back several years the answer was "...
more than $25,000 ... "

Internal Costs? This depends totally on
your current program, number of facilities, language considerations, complexity
of product, use of the product, etc.
15. How Do We Pick a Registrar?
There is severe competition among the 65+
Registrars in the US. Our advice is get help in picking the right registrar.
They will be with you a long time.
Make sure you understand:
- What the registrar's
name will mean to your customers and potential customers - particularly in
other countries.
- The ongoing costs,
- What your rights are if
they go out of that business (AT&T just sold their business to DNV!)
Talk to some recent and some ongoing customers.
